Good Morning America Summer Concert Series

This summer, Good Morning America is bringing back its summer concert series. Held at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, these concerts air simultaneously with the morning show. The lineup this year includes Blink 182, Sia, and Keith Urban, with closing act Jason Derulo.

Arlene's Grocery

Arlene's Grocery is a bodega turned bar in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. For over 15 years, it has showcased upcoming talent. From punk bands to bohemian newcomers, the venue has hosted shows by some of the biggest names in New York City's music scene. Recently, the bar added a butcher shop next door, allowing for two separate rooms for concerts. The Lower East Side has become a thriving hub for NYC rock.

Madison Square Garden

The Madison Square Garden, more commonly known as The Garden or MSG, is a venue located in Midtown Manhattan. It is situated between Seventh and Eighth avenues, above Pennsylvania Station. The Garden offers concerts, exhibitions, and other events throughout the year.

The Rooftop at Pier 17

The Rooftop at Pier 17 is a New York City rooftop venue known for hosting concerts. The rooftop is also home to some awesome amenities. It's located near restaurants in the Seaport district of the city.

Governors Ball Music Festival

During the Governors Ball Music Festival, New York City residents can enjoy the best of the city's live music scene while also getting a taste of the city's food trucks. From the tasty treats of Mac Truck NYC to the ice cream of Van Leeuwen, there's something for every palate at this annual New York City concert. You'll also find vegan options and a variety of juices and beverages.

The Specials

If you haven't seen The Specials live, now is your chance to catch them in person. This legendary band reformed several times since their 1981 breakup, and they have a current lineup of band members that includes lead vocalist Terry Hall, back vocalist Neville Staple, and guitar players Lynval Golding and Neville Staple. The show will feature a horn section, too.

a-ha

After 12 years, a-ha is returning to New York City for a series of concerts. On April 12 and 13, the band will headline Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. The concert hall seats 6,000 fans, but the band hasn't played here since October 1986. Ticket presales begin tomorrow. A-ha will perform their entire 1985 debut album, Hunting High and Low, during the concerts. They'll also play shows in South America, Europe, and Mexico.
